THE NEWLANDS COMMUNITY – QUINTESSENTIAL BOULDER

Newlands began when William and Mary Newland bought 240 acres next to the foothills in 1871. Apple orchards (many of the trees still standing), strawberries and other crops were planted during it’s early agricultural origins. Over the years, many different styles of homes have been built in Newlands including original farmhouses, Victorian, Queen Ann styles. Midcentury bungalows, craftsman (some original, many remodeled and some brand new) style, and an eclectic mix of modern and custom built homes can be found throughout the neighborhood. The lovely towering trees, and foothill and mountain views add to this well-loved Boulder community.
